Norbert Peeters (MA) is a botanical philosopher who studied archeology and philosophy at Leiden University. He works as a PhD student at the Institute for Philosophy researching weeds and invasive plants. He published several books, book chapters and essay. Together with his former Professor Wouter Oudemans he co-authored ‘Plantaardig – Vegetatieve filosofie’ (2014). His own debut ‘Botanische revolutie: de plantenleer van Charles Darwin’ was published in 2016. He also wrote ‘Rumphius’ Kruidboek: stories from the Ambonese flora’ (2020) and more recently ‘Wildernis-vernis: een filosoof in het Vondelpark’ (2021).
