Boris de Ruyter is Principal Scientist at Philips Research and Professor (by special appointment) Human Interactions with Intelligent Systems at the Radboud University in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. He wants to contribute to the development of social innovative technology, useable by society, at the intersection of cognitive neurosciences, psychology and artificial intelligence.
He graduated as an Experimental Psychologist at the University of Ghent (Belgium). After which he worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Antwerp. In 1995 he joined Philips Research in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. First as Senior Scientist and since 2006 as Principal Scientist. Next to his position at Philips Research Boris is a Professor (by special appointment) Human Interactions with Intelligent Systems at the Radboud University in Nijmegen, The Netherlands.
